Llana Arreza (she/her) was born and raised in Las Piñas Philippines, and later immigrated to Canada settling in Winnipeg, MB during her elementary and high school years – in what are the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe), Ininew (Cree), Dakota, and the Red River Métis peoples. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Biology (Animal Biology Specialization) at the University of British Columbia (2022), with her honours thesis focusing on gathering physiological data applicable to sustainable Atlantic salmon aquaculture. Llana is excited to bring this experience and her passions in sustainability and marine biodiversity to the Environmental Law Society Board, as she enters her second year JD student in the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Law.
