Sina Rudrum-Steinhauer is a settler of German descent and has lived on Lək̓ʷəŋən territory since 2016. Sina completed her JD at the University of Victoria with a concentration in Environmental Law and Sustainability. Before coming to law school, Sina received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Sociology. Throughout her studies, she worked as a Research Assistant in the field of Environmental Sociology, as a Sustainability Assistant at the UVic Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability, and as a co-op student at a Victoria-based environmental law firm. While at UVic Law, Sina was also an active member of the Environmental Law Club and a member of the Environmental Law Centre board. She has spoken at environmental conferences and events through her involvement with several local non-profit organizations and well-established connections in her hometown in the Comox Valley. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, sewing, and going on bike rides with her family.
